June 13, 2025 – United States – Zenith AY Modular Buildings Limited and ModuLink Australia Pty Ltd., is moving forward with plans to develop smart, affordable housing communities for elderly and retired residents in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to address the rising demand for senior-friendly housing while incorporating sustainability and smart technology. Through modular construction and green building solutions, the projects aim to deliver cost-effective, intelligent homes designed to support independent living for aging populations.
Modular Design with Built-In Smart Features
ModuLink Australia Pty Ltd will spearhead project management and architectural design. Meanwhile, ModuLink InnoTech Company Limited will contribute building management systems and atmospheric water generation (AWG) technologies to enhance environmental resilience and off-grid capabilities.
Each modular home is expected to include:
AWG systems offering optional off-grid water supply.
Integrated energy storage for power independence.
IoT-based health monitoring and emergency alert systems for resident safety.
A prototype smart modular home has already been constructed in Melbourne to demonstrate the project’s design and technology in action. Joint venture entities will be established to manage site planning, financing, sales, and marketing. Local architects and contractors will be brought on board to ensure compliance with Australian building regulations and deliver a smooth rollout.
A Word from the CEO
